“Many stories matter. Stories have been used to dispossess and to malign. But stories can also be used to empower, and to humanize. Stories can break the dignity of a people. But stories can also repair that broken dignity.” ― Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Some people aren't always entirely comfortable with sharing their stories. And that's okay.

This page exists to allow them to share their thoughts, feelings and opinions around issues affecting young black people.

Single tear streaming down my cheek.

Why?

Because there's another dead brother in the streets.

When?

Happened about last week.

How?

Another stabbing or a shooting by police.

Who's to blame?

Well, Theresa May is still silent.

Loud about the Weinstein scandal,

But ignores police violence.

What about us?

£32 million for Irma

But the £5 million for Grenfell just isn't enough.

How many?

Souls lost to the streets.

Or kids disenchanted in school

No one supporting their dreams

So, they end up breaking the rules.

So how should we respond?

We must do what they won't.

We must protect our Kings and Queens

They may not want us to succeed.

But if we persist, what can't we achieve?
